The role of the Egyptian Gas Association (EGA) focuses on connecting the positions of member companies to industry issues, and representing their unified voice to policy and decision makers. Membership in the EGA gives the opportunity to both corporations and individual members to take an active role in shaping the future of Egypt’s energy industry.
Through the association, members will obtain global access. Every three years, EGA members will have the opportunity to join one of the International Gas Union (IGU) committees, and thus have the ability to affect petroleum legislation globally.
Members will also have uninterrupted access to the industry’s major networking events, allowing them to build connections with key stakeholders and gain access to needed information.
MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY
All applications will be reviewed by the board to determine eligibility, based upon level of involvement in the petroleum industry, the corporation they are currently part of, and their seniority level within that organization.
